Winnipeg Talking Circle

Winnipeg Talking Circle

Mentors of Change launched its Talking Circle on January 21, 2025, creating a safe, respectful, and welcoming space where individuals can share their lived and living experiences. The Talking Circle is guided by Indigenous-informed practices and gives everyone a chance to speak, listen, and learn from one another. It is held on the fourth Wednesday of every month.

Circle Rules:

  • Be respectful — Treat everyone with kindness and respect.
  • Share your experience — Speak about your own lived and living experiences.
  • Listen to others — Listen without judging or interrupting.
  • One person speaks at a time — Give everyone a chance to share.
  • Everyone’s voice matters — Respect different experiences and opinions.
